Course: The Magic of Canva and AI

Developing Digital Skills — Canva and AI Course

“The Magic of Canva and AI” — ORPEG, completed with distinction

From 28 April to 25 August 2026, I completed the 70-hour professional development course “The Magic of Canva and AI — A Practical Guide from the Basics to Magic Studio for Polish Community Teachers”, delivered through the kursy.orpeg.gov.pl platform.

The programme consisted of 11 modules, covering everything from Canva's interface and basic composition principles, through typography and photo editing, to working with Magic Studio (Magic Write, Magic Media and advanced AI-assisted editing), as well as a final project.

Virtual CANVA 2026 Activity BadgeI completed the course with distinction, receiving the Virtual Activity Badge. The badge was awarded for systematic participation in course forum discussions, active participation in webinars, completion of all self-study tests, and preparing and publishing an original educational resource in Canva.

The course instructor described my final project as an “extensive and mature practical summary” of the skills I had developed. She highlighted my conscious use of graphic design principles and my critical approach to the possibilities and limitations of AI — including my ability to assess when Magic Write is genuinely useful and when another tool is a better choice.

She also highlighted the practical implementation of the knowledge I gained. In my final project, I noted that approximately 90% of the graphic materials currently published on the Klubik Orzełki website are created in Canva.

Centre for the Development of Polish Education Abroad (ORPEG)

The course is organised by the Centre for the Development of Polish Education Abroad (ORPEG) — a public institution operating under the Polish Ministry of National Education.

ORPEG supports Polish schools, teachers and Polish communities around the world by organising training programmes, professional development courses and educational projects. Its activities focus on improving the quality of Polish-language education and supporting the professional development of teachers working outside Poland.

Canva Portfolio

The course included numerous practical assignments and a final project, allowing me to apply the knowledge I gained in practice. Selected projects I created during the training can be viewed in the “Canva Portfolio” section, where I regularly present examples of my work and the skills I am developing in graphic design and the use of AI tools.
