Orzełki is a group for children aged **3–9** who meet weekly to learn and have fun in Polish. The sessions combine elements of Polish-language and cultural education — including language, culture, geography and history — with creative, physical and musical activities. For the sessions I lead, I prepare the topic, structure and materials myself. I want children not only to listen, but above all to **do things, discover and solve problems**. That is why my sessions can include puzzles, challenges, movement, teamwork, origami and hands-on activities. ### Selected sessions **Sports activities** A session exploring different sports, combined with games and physical activities. [**Detective Investigation — September 2026**](https://klubikorzelki.ch/grupa-orzelki-09-09-2026/) The children became detectives and tried to solve the mystery of a missing cake. There were clues, evidence, puzzles, suspicious animals and teamwork. In the end, they discovered that the cake had been eaten by... a gorilla. [**Back from Holiday — August 2026**](https://klubikorzelki.ch/grupa-orzelki-26-08-2026/) After the summer break, we went back to our holiday memories. The children made paper boats using origami, created their own travel maps and made dream catchers. ### What do these projects teach me? Leading these sessions brings together several skills that I also use in my other projects: **coming up with an idea, preparing materials, working with content and visuals, organising and working with a group**. For me, it is also a way to experiment — to find out how to present a particular topic in a way that engages children and encourages them to take an active role.
